When it comes to AI, the rest of the world might be talking about the robots taking over, but most museums are yet to tackle the data basics – the necessary foundation to make AI a reality. With hard to reach data in legacy system silos requiring blood, sweat and tears to get at, the innovative potential for AI slips away and the basis for decisions is inevitably anecdotal.
In this session, two innovative art museums will share their experiences tackling the challenges of building an integrated data landscape and introducing analytics to stakeholders, then innovating upon this capability using various AI technologies to predict and analyze visitor behavior. Diana Pan, Chief Technology Officer at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York and Heather Hart, Director of IT at The Broad in Los Angeles together with Angie Judge, Chief Executive at Dexibit will discuss their experiences, sharing real data and offering insights on discoveries made and outcomes influenced.
The panel will cover how to attract, convert, record, track and evaluate visitors through:
