How do you talk about a museum that isn’t built?

This presentation provides an insight into the development and launch of M+’s bilingual (Chinese/English) storytelling platform, M+ Stories. It looks beyond the editorial remit of the project and into how we addressed issues such as accessibility, interim branding, tagging taxonomies while working out our long-term technical overhead and working within an institution that’s still very much in formation. Everything we’re doing at M+ we’re doing for the first time, which is both incredible and daunting—this is an insight into a project that lays the groundwork and informs what comes next as we march towards opening day.
